KJ slams Budget 2019, says no strategy to boost national development

Umno lawmaker Khairy Jamaluddin on Friday joined in the Opposition’s chorus of criticism against Pakatan Harapan’s Budget 2019. He said that there is no major strategy to boost national development.

Khairy, who is Barisan Nasional’s shadow finance minister, said many good policies were either continued or taken from the previous Barisan Nasional government’s plans and early announcements.

Earlier, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng tabled the budget at the Dewan Rakyat.
