KJ: Priority is to bring down hospitalisations and deaths

With Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob giving his new Cabinet members 100 days to prove themselves, all eyes will be on one of the most high-profile portfolios-Health.

Its new minister Khairy Jamaluddin is well aware of the tasks ahead with Malaysia currently battling raging Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking at a media interview on Friday, Khairy said the ministry’s immediate target in controlling the pandemic was to bring down the number of hospitalisations and deaths over the next three months.
