KJ: New regulations on face masks indoors to be announced soon

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said that he will make an announcement soon regarding the indoor masks mandate.

This comes after Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) president Dr Koh Kar Chai on Aug 31 urged the government to lift the requirement to wear face masks indoors, except in crowded areas such as public transport, elderly care centres and healthcare facilities.
