King Bhumibol’s oldest daughter still adorned by the Thais

The eldest daughter of King Bhumibol Adulyadej is adored by the public for her social work, including when she handed out food and water to attendees of the late king’s funeral in Bangkok, Thailand.
Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya is still revered by Thai people even after she relinquished her royal title when she married an American citizen and settled in the US before returning to Thailand in 1998 following a divorce.
She is still granted the title of princess, after the grander title of Her Royal Highness Princess was no longer used after her relinquishment when she married her American husband in 1972.
