Khairy: RM53.05 million used to pay Mimos contract project researchers

Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin told the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Dec 15) that RM53.05 million were used to pay the salaries of contract project researchers involved in the research and development projects with the National Applied Research & Development Centre (Mimos).

He said this in reply to Hang Tuah Jaya MP Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin who asked for a clarification on Mimos' misuse of government’s funds as stated in the recent Auditor-General's Report.
