The Customs Department busted a ketum processing syndicate operating for over a year in Taman Kempas Utama, Johor Baru, arresting three suspects — a local man and two Indonesian women.

Johor Customs director Aminul Izmeer Mohd Sohaimi said raids on Feb 27 uncovered large quantities of ketum leaves and processed drink worth over RM76,000, along with equipment used for production.
