Kelantan oil royalty: Let’s not argue about terminology, discuss rationally, says Guan Eng

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng on Tuesday said he does not want to argue with Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob on the terminology used on the state’s oil royalty payment, adding that the issue should be discussed rationally by both parties to come to an agreement on the matter.

Ahmad Yakob had earlier said that the state received payment of "wang ihsan” from the Federal Government on Sept 27 and not a royalty payment as mentioned by Lim on Monday.
