Harry Kane has finally won the Ballon d’Or, the first Englishman to do so since Michael Owen in 2001.

Kane scored 73 goals for club and country in 2025-26, including six at the World Cup.

Spain’s Alexia Putellas won the women’s award a third time, while Spain and Barcelona players took several other honours, including Lamine Yamal’s third young talent award.
