Kampung Pawong declared unsafe by Minerals and Geoscience Dept after earth fissure

Perak Minerals and Geoscience Department has declared that the orang asli settlement in Kampung Pawong, Simpang Pulai is unsafe for occupation after a huge crack appeared in the ground. Three houses were badly affected after a 50-metre-long, 1.7-metre wide and 1.5-metre deep crack, appeared at about 3pm on Tuesday.
