Doan Thi Huong’s lawyer Hisyam Teh Poh Teik said they have asked for the court to allow a postponement as the Vietnamese suspect was not fit to take the stand.

Doan’s lawyers also asked for the Attorney General to practice fairness in court, and explain why was the proceeding to drop the charge against the other suspect Siti Aisyah was granted, but not Doan.

Both Siti Aisyah and Doan were charged with murdering Kim Jong-nam, the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at KLIA2 on Feb, 2017.
