Johor police on the hunt for 75 tabligh gathering participants in the state

The police are on the hunt for 75 participants of the tabligh gathering at the Sri Petaling mosque last month that have yet come forward to get themselves screened for Covid-19.

Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay on Monday said this to reporters after visiting the joint roadblocks under the movement control order (MCO) conducted by the police and Armed Forces personnel at Jalan Tampoi Lama, in Johor Baru on Monday (March 23).

On the movement control order (MCO), Comm Ayob said that Johor police have recorded a compliance rate of 92% as of Sunday (March 22) under the movement control order (MCO), and aims to increase the percentage in the coming days.
