Johor govt aims to set up company in Singapore

The Johor government is planning to set up Johor Investment Company (Jico) in Singapore soon in an effort to boost bilateral relations with its neighbour across the Causeway.

Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad said that Jico’s main function is to improve and ease trade between Johor and Singapore, and not to compete with the International Trade and Industry Ministry.
