Johor cops arrest 14 in call centre raid

Police in Johor Baru have arrested 14 people to help in investigations regarding a call centre at a house in Taman Mount Austin.

Johor police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat on Monday (Nov 14) said the suspects consist of 11 men, including one foreigner, and three women who targeted victims from outside the country, especially Singaporeans, by offering a bogus job as a travel agent, advertising the vacancy via social media.
