Johor call centre uses advanced technology to cheat victims

Police have uncovered the latest tactic used by a “Macau scam” syndicate using high-end communication technology to cheat their victims.

Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said that the police had recently carried out a raid on a landed property in Mount Austin in Johor Baru allegedly used by a syndicate to become a call centre.
