Jobless man jailed seven months for insulting Islam

A Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court on Monday sentenced Mohamad Yazid Kong Abdullah to seven months’ jail and fined him RM10,000 for insulting Prophet Muhammad and Islam on social media.

He pleaded guilty to making three Facebook posts on Feb 24 that insulted Islam and the Prophet.
