Ismail Sabri: NSC approval needed for SOPs before reflexology centres and the like can reopen

The special Cabinet meeting will take the standard operating procedures (SOP) for tourism sub-sectors to the National Security Council (NSC) for approval before services such as spas, wellness and reflexology centres and the like are allowed to reopen, said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The Senior Minister said that on Monday, adding that the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry had also presented SOPs for other tourism-related activities such as domestic travel, trade fairs as well as meetings, incentives, conferencing and exhibitions (Mice).

Ismail Sabri also said he would ask the NSC to look into how blind masseurs could be allowed to resume work, adding that he had received pleas from the Malaysian Association for the Blind that its members' income and business had been affected by the movement control order.
