The Senior Minister said that on Friday, adding that while the mandatory use of face masks is not stipulated under Act 342 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act, it could be made as a requirement by the local authorities.

Ismail Sabri was asked on complaints by the public that traders at pasar malam and morning markets do not wear a face mask while as customers, they act responsibly by putting it on when they go to such places to shop.
