Investigation papers on death of Syed Muhammad Danial submitted to DPP

Selangor deputy police chief Comm Datuk Ab Rashid Ab Wahab said investigation papers related to the death of 29-year-old Syed Muhammad Danial Syed Syakir have been submitted to the Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP).

Speaking to reporters after signing a note on cooperation between the Selangor police and Pick N Go Sdn Bhd on Monday, Ab Rashid said the investigations were under Section 302 of the Penal Code for intentional homicide but it would be up to the DPP to evaluate whether to maintain the same legal provision on the charges or otherwise.
