Insults and uncertainty: autistic youths struggle under Spain's lockdown

Many families in Spain who have members who are autistic, were going through harrowing experience during lockdown when they were often hurled with insults, harassment and even fines when being outside of their homes.

Autistic people in Spain are legally entitled to go for walks, but the government only specified this a week after declaring its state of emergency, and both police and civilians are often unaware of the situation.
