Indonesia says more than US$3 billion in recovery funds required after Sumatra floods

Indonesians in the northern regions of Sumatra island are struggling to return to normal life as senior government officials said on Sunday (Dec 7) that the island will require 51.82 trillion rupiah (US$3.11 billion) in reconstruction and recovery funds following a series of deadly floods.
