Increase in SST to 8% will burden Msians, says Syed Saddiq

Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman said that given the government's decision to implement targeted subsidies, the increase in the Sales Service Tax (SST) from 6% to 8% would only burden the public.

The Muar MP said this during a press conference after Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim tabled Budget 2024 on Friday (Oct 13).
