Immigration officer transferred after viral video of shouting match

The action of the officer seen shouting in a viral video is against the values of the Immigration Department despite being provoked, says its director-general.

In a statement on Sunday (Aug 21), Datuk Seri Khairul Dzaimee Daud said the incident at UTC Selangor in Shah Alam recently was viewed seriously, and that the department has transferred the officer to a different division immediately.
