Immigration busts 'nauseating and dirty' illegal sundry shop on first floor of Sg Petani shoplot

Nauseating and too dirty - that was how Kedah Immigration Department director Zuhair Jamaludin described what his enforcement team found when they stumbled on an unlicensed sundry shop on the top floor of a shophouse in, Amanjaya, Sungai Petani.

Six Bangladesh nationals were detained by the state Immigration Department during the operation code-named Ops Sapu on Saturday (Feb 13).
