The Islamic Medical Association Of Malaysia Response And Relief Team (Imaret) was started by a group of young doctors in 2014 to ease the burden of communities affected by disasters and crises through the provision of humanitarian and medical aid.

Since the breakout of the Covid-19 pandemic, its chief coordinator Dr Ahmad Yusuf Yahaya says Imaret has been helping frontliners by providing medical equipment and human resources.
