IGP: Truth about MH370's fate will stay unknown until wreckage is found

It is hard to get to the truth of what happened to the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 as long as the aircraft or its wreckage is not found, says Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador in response to former Australian premier Tony Abbott’s remark that Malaysian leaders told him that the tragedy was almost certainly a “murder suicide”.

The Inspector-General of Police, who was part of the investigation team then, said the police investigated the case from all angles, including theories of terrorism and hijacking.

"We collected various information and facts regarding the missing airplane. The case might be reopened if the aircraft is found," he told reporters after an event held at Pulapol on Wednesday.
