Iconic KL Railway Station, KTMB HQ to be restored, not sold, says Loke

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the Budget 2027 announcement on conserving the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and KTMB headquarters disproves claims that the ministry plans to sell the historic buildings to outside parties.

He added that the conservation will be carried out by Khazanah Nasional and the Railway Assets Corporation, with upgrades similar to the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, to preserve their history and draw tourists.
