A plane carrying a banner declaring 'White Lives Matter Burnley' flew over Manchester City's Etihad Stadium on Monday (June 22) at the start of the Premier League game against Burnley.

In a post-match news conference, Burnley manager Sean Dyche said he supported the club's statement calling the flyover, "unacceptable".

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola also condemned the banner and the message saying, “Of course white lives matter but black lives matter too. Human beings matter. Everyone, we are the same."
