Houthi naval blockade: Two Saudi oil tankers hit, one ablaze in Red Sea

The Iranian-aligned Houthis said on Thursday (July 23) they struck two Saudi Arabian oil tankers as part of a naval blockade they are imposing on Saudi Arabia, threatening to create a second chokepoint on global oil supplies alongside the Strait of Hormuz crisis.

Meanwhile, the US military completed a new round of strikes on Iran, marking a 12th successive night of American attacks and prompting further Iranian retaliation.
