Housewife fails to strike out conviction for abusing Indonesian maid

Housewife Yim Pek Ha who was convicted of abusing her Indonesian maid Nirmala Bonat in 2004, failed in another bid to have her conviction struck out. Yim failed to prove how the maid had "tricked and defrauded" the previous Sessions Judge to come to the decision of the sentence.
