Hot air balloon fiesta kicks off with a bang

The skies were filled with colourful hot air balloons in all shapes and sizes with many swarming the area in hopes of getting an early morning balloon ride as the Penang Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2019 kicked off.

Held by AKA Balloons Sdn Bhd for the fifth consecutive year, the Penang Hot Air Balloon Fiesta features 15 hot air balloons, including five special shaped balloons, 10 normal balloons and four balloons tethered for those who want to go for a hot air balloon ride.

Other activities and workshops for the young and old will be carried out throughout the two-day fiesta.
