Local authors are using the 43rd Kuala Lumpur International Book Festival as a platform to launch new titles across genres including post-apocalyptic fiction, fantasy romance and horror.

Writers Deelion, Bella Chu and Saidee Nor Azam shared the inspirations behind their latest books and encouraged aspiring authors to cultivate strong reading habits, stressing that reading is the foundation of good writing.
