Hishammuddin: RM1,000 compound for Covid-19 SOP violations ineffective

The RM1,000 fine imposed on those violating the standard operating procedures (SOP) under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 or Act 342 is ineffective, Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said at a press conference at the Parliament lobby on Tuesday.
