Hiker buried under snow pulled out alive after Italy avalanche

Alpine rescue teams rescued a hiker buried under snow after a large avalanche struck north of Italy's Gressoney-La-Trinite on Thursday (Feb 12), authorities in Aosta Valley said.
The man, who managed to call the emergency number 112 before the line went dead, was found about one and a half metres under snow after roughly three hours.
