The Kuala Lumpur wholesale market in Selayang, Kuala Lumpur sees a high turnover among the local workers.

Recent checks by The Star revealed that many locals have quit due to the physically demanding nature of the job.

Many locals grabbed the job opportunity in March this year, after the government’s crackdown on illegal immigrants who worked in the wholesale market without proper documentations.
