High Court issues order of house arrest for Najib after RM50mil fine settled

Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has settled the RM50mil fine imposed on him in the SRC International Sdn Bhd funds misappropriation case at the Criminal High Court registry, confirmed Najib's lawyer Muhammad Farhan Muhammad Shafee in a press conference on Friday (Nov 6).

As a result, the court has issued, pursuant to the royal pardon, the order of house arrest.
