Health Ministry launches ops to combat smoking, vape

The Health Ministry has launched Operasi Selamat Paru-Paru (Ops Selamat PaPa) to crack down on smoking and vaping offences, potentially paving the way for a future ban on vape products.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad on Friday (Aug 1) said the operation aims to strengthen enforcement of the Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Act 2024 (Act 852).
