Health DG: Limiting number of MPs is to ensure Parliament is Covid-19-free

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the decision to limit the number of MPs during parliamentary sitting is to ensure that the Dewan Rakyat is a Covid-19-free venue.

In a press conference on Thursday (Nov 5), he said although the standard operating procedure (SOP) for the parliamentary sitting had been set earlier, the ministry was constantly enhancing the existing guidelines from time to time.
