Health DG lauds nurses as “unsung heroes”

In conjunction with International Nurses Day, which is celebrated annually on May 12, Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah paid tribute to nurses, saying that they play a vital role in patient care and form the backbone of the country’s healthcare system.
