Health DG: Hospital KL can now resume most services, including elective surgery

As the Low-Risk Patient Quarantine and Treatment Centre for Covid-19 cases at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) is in operation, Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) can now resume the majority of its services, including elective surgery, says Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

The Health director-general said that in his daily briefing on Wednesday (May 6), adding that as at May 5, the cumulative number of positive Covid-19 cases that had been treated at the centre was 217, in which 65 patients have been discharged and 152 were still being treated.
