Health DG: 70% to 80% of Covid-19 patients in Sabah are asymptomatic or with mild symptoms

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah on Friday said that 70% to 80% of the Covid-19 patients in Malaysia are those without symptoms and with only mild symptoms.

And he said this is also the case in Sabah which has seen a spike in cases in recent weeks.

He said what the Health Ministry has been doing is to isolate and treat such patients for 14 days to reduce their possibility of spread the virus to others.
