Govt to streamline rules on use of word 'Allah' before presenting to Conference of Rulers, says PM

The government will enhance and streamline all related regulations on the use of the word "Allah" to avoid any more confusion before presenting it to the Conference of Rulers in July, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said in reply to a question from Datuk Idris Ahmad (PN-Bagan Serai) during the Prime Minister's Question Time on Tuesday (May 23) that the Yang di-Pertuan Agong had agreed for inputs to be made on the Cabinet papers on the use of the word "Allah", in order to enhance the regulations surrounding it.
