Govt to impose excise duties on vape products

The government plans to impose an excise duty on vape products, says Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said that when tabling the revised Budget 2023, adding that the government also supported the generational end game Bill (GEG) and agreed that half of the proceeds from this excise duty would be allocated to the Health Ministry as an effort to improve the quality of health services.
