Govt to curb online sale of drug-laced vapes and other banned items, says Fahmi

The government is formulating enforcement measures to curb the online sale of prohibited items, including drug-laced vape products, following discussions among three key ministries, said Communications Minister and government spokesman Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.

He said the Communications Ministry, Health Ministry, and Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry will work together to address the growing availability of such products on digital platforms, adding that the move underscores the government’s commitment to curbing the spread of dangerous substances through online channels.
