Govt to boost iTekad grant allocation by RM6 mil to assist micro entrepreneurs

The government will increase its grant allocation for the iTekad social finance programme by RM6 million to assist micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), especially the B40 group, said Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister also said during the iTekad collaboration ceremony on Tuesday (Aug 22) that the government is committed to eradicating national poverty and bridging the gap between the rich and the poor, and called on more banking institutions in Malaysia to join the iTekad initiative in the near future.
