Govt's best offer for Kg Baru landowners: RM850 per sq ft, plus RM150 psf in share

The government announced on Thursday its final offer of RM1,000 per square foot for land in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur, up from RM850 previously.

Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad said it was estimated that the buyout from landowners would cost the government about RM6.7bil in compensation.
