Govt mulls over Covid-19 screening for transiting passengers, says Dr Noor Hisham

The government is mulling making passengers transiting through Malaysian airports undergo Covid-19 screening, says Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

The Health director-general said this on Monday when asked to respond on Cambodia's move to ban flights from Malaysia and Indonesia due to imported Covid-19 cases.

Dr Noor Hisham said there had been cases where passengers transiting through Malaysia to another country had tested positive for the virus, raising concerns of infections.
