Govt mulling cut to road tax for diesel vehicles, says PM

The Federal Government is considering reducing road tax for diesel-powered vehicles to ease the burden of rising global fuel prices.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the matter had been discussed with Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook and the Transport Ministry is working on the details of the mechanism and its implementation.
