Govt may look at drafting policy to make Covid-19 vaccination mandatory

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah Noor on Friday said the government is likely to draft a policy that will make it mandatory for Malaysians to be vaccinated against Covid-19 when a vaccine is successfully developed.

He said that before that, the ministry would want to see the effectiveness of the vaccine and whether or not it has any side effects.
