Govt hospitals to provide free Hepatitis C treatment from this year

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam on Monday said government hospitals nationwide have started to provide free Hepatitis C treatment to patients. He said 2,000 such patients will be treated this year after the sofosbuvir drug is made available through compulsory licensing.
