Govt forms Majlis Kemakmuran Bumiputera to empower socio-economic development of bumiputras

The government has established Majlis Kemakmuran Bumiputera (MKB) as the highest platform to empower the socio-economic development of the bumiputra community in the country.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin told Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Rawa (PH-Parit Buntar) during Question Time in Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (Aug 13), adding that the Perikatan Nasional government remains committed to put the bumiputra agenda as its national priority.

The Prime Minister also decided that the Bumiputra Agenda Steering Unit (Teraju) will be the main coordinator in the socio-economic development of the community.
